Disneyworld here we come

All the girls wore Mickey Mouse ears to Disneyworld – the night before we blinged the ears up with Swarovski hotfix crystals, and we all wore our special Katie’s Girls Tshirts.  We attracted much attention in our attire, and spent lots of time speaking to all sorts of people who stopped us to ask “Who’s Katie?” or “Who are Katie’s Girls?”.

off, had a pair of white bloomers decorated with a crystal Mickey head.  What a sight!

Well, we experienced Disneyworld on Saturday for Chris’ birthday.  What a day!!!

We arrived there at 10.00am and left at 11.30pm – the girls had a huge day out!

Cathy, Chris, Cheryl and Sue went on lots of rides – Splash Mountain, Rocky Mountain Train, teacups (Cathy and Cheryl), the cars.

Then all the girls experience Peter Pan’s ride, and It’s a Small Small World.

At the end of the day we watched the fabulous electric parade, then saw the fireworks, after both of which we were all gobsmacked, with very, very tired backs, feet, hips, heads, and everything else in between!

What an absolutely incredible day – of course, the day would not have been a stupendous day out without some serious shopping as well!

Today was a sort of rest day, as we have had 2 very late nights (or early mornings).

We started off with a sleepin, then a swim in our pool, then went off to Ihop where we all enjoyed a great lunch.

Then off to the souvenir shop, then Walmart, where Chris (and all the rest of the girls) had a truly wonderful shopping experience!

Then back to our house for a birthday tea for Chris – with pizza, BBQ chicken, chocolate fudge cake.

Then as a surprise for Chris we had a pinatta, who was a green monster – there is a photo of Chris wacking the monster later.

In summary, a great day – Chris is now bejewelling everyone’s Mickey ears in readiness for our big day at Disneyworld tomorrow.

Today was the 3rd drive around this amazing upsize of everything!

 to buildings

We have toured lots of carparks and U-turns (at traffic lights – legal here), (accidentally of course), have met some amazing people. had beautiful weather, and have enjoyed not having to wash up or cook.

Have spent lots of money (what fun was that), (who cares – its our trip), and having fun doing it.

PS Watch out for Disneyworld on Saturday!

Tonight we went out to celebrate Chris’ 50th birthday, which is actually next Saturday, the 9th.  There were 30 odd of Chris’ family there to help celebrate her birthday early – didn’t she get a surprise! 

On Chris’ actual birthday we will be going to Disneyworld in Orlando Florida for the day, and won’t that be a day of fun and surprises!

Chris and Cathy are very excited, as we (together with 5 of our class ladies) are leaving this Tuesday 5.4.2011 to fly to Florida via San Francisco.  We will visit Orlando, and then go to Jacksonville to board Carnival Fascination for a Swarovski cruise around the Caribbean, where we will be doing workshops!
